Coverage and Payment Options
Many clients ask if insurance covers hypnotherapy — here’s how it usually works:
Some insurance plans may reimburse for hypnosis under CPT code 90880 (Hypnotherapy).
Every insurance company and plan is different, so it’s important to check with your provider first.
Ask your insurance:
“Does my plan cover hypnotherapy or hypnosis under CPT code 90880 when provided by a certified hypnotherapist?”
Many clients use their Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for hypnotherapy sessions.
You’ll usually need a Letter of Medical Necessity from your doctor to use FSA/HSA funds.
Payment for sessions is made directly to Independent Success Wellness, LLC at the time of booking.
I’ll provide a detailed receipt (also called a superbill) if you want to submit it to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

It is the client’s responsibility to verify coverage and submit any claims.
